At this time of enormous sadness, a message of solidarity from across the Channel
With their permission, we are sharing this exclusive letter below
Yesterday CIBUK.Org and Facts4EU.Org received a letter from France. It comes from a French organisation advocating independence from the European Union, but its fundamental message is one of solidarity with the British people at this time of national mourning.
With its President’s permission, we are sharing this letter with our readers.

Dear friends,
The members and the President of the Alliance for the Sovereignty of France send to you and to all the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, all their condolences on the death of Her Gracious Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Here too, we all feel we have lost someone of our own family.
We all thought she was eternal: at all the ages of her life she was so pretty, so smiling, so present, so brave, so close. But no human being is eternal.
She was the United Kingdom. She embodied the United Kingdom. She remains forever in the hearts of all the peoples of the world, so that the United Kingdom could never disappear.
Please don’t be too downhearted, British people, you are a great people who, like Her Gracious Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, have always known how to stay upright, to never surrender. A great people who have always shown that preserving their way of life, of believing, of working, of hoping, of keeping their traditions, is the only way that man has found to oppose the inexorable flight of time.
Before her death, we were very close, after we are even closer. It is the miracle of sovereignty which, throughout the world, brings together free peoples.
Never forget her. Never. Together back to freedom, hand in hand!
God bless the UK and bless you all, friends.
Very truly yours,
For the Alliance for the Sovereignty of France
Bernard Chalumeau
President
