CIB’s Annual General Meeting 2022
Dear Member of the Campaign for an Independent Britain,
I am pleased to give you notice of our Annual General Meeting which will be an online meeting held at 4pm on 19th April.
How to attend the meeting:-
The meeting is important this year because we have spent the last three months re-invigorating and refreshing the CIB brand in order to take on the increasingly very well-funded efforts from the Rejoiners to take us back into the EU. These forces also continue to advocate globalist values and policies which are anathema to the majority of the population of the United Kingdom.
We have a new Chairman and Deputy Chairman and already have a rebranded website as you can see. There are several proposed new members to the National Committee and in addition there are proposals put forward by your National Committee to change our constitution to take us into the 2020s and beyond.
These will enable us to carry out our objectives of: restoring full sovereignty to the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland); opposing the steps that are being taken by some to take us back into the EU; and protecting our sovereignty and freedoms in the future.
Very positively, we also have two major new campaigns and a new Political Advisory Council, which our Chairman and Deputy Chairman will tell you about at the meeting.
If you are unable to attend, I would be grateful if you would complete the proxy form which you have been sent and email it back to me so that your vote will be taken into account.
The agenda for the meeting is:
Yours faithfully,
John Harrison FCA, Hon Treasurer and Membership Secretary
