Up close and personal, filmed in offices, private homes, and Westminster, we are proud to announce the upcoming release of ‘The Independence Documentary – Director’s Cut 2025’. Packed full of famous faces, we gained privileged access to the those who have been at the centre of the UK’s fightback for independence, sovereignty, democracy and freedoms over the recent tumultuous years.

Fast-paced and covering all the essential topics from immigration to our standard of living, this movie will have you riveted from start to finish. Over many weeks we filmed the key figures speaking candidly about our country, with expert and unobtrusive questioning by ex-MEP, ex-GB News presenter, and now Talk TV presenter Alex Phillips.

This film rattles along, as we find out what our all-star cast from across the political spectrum really think about the issues confronting the United Kingdom.

40 minutes of TV gold!

The full movie is in the ‘must-watch’ category. Professionally edited, it cuts between locations from Westminster’s  College Green to the private offices and even the private homes of the famous. Moving at speed, it takes us on a journey through the thoughts of those who have been at the forefront of our lives in one of the most fascinating upheavals in the United Kingdom’s political landscape in the last 100 years.

With filming which began in September 2023, it is extraordinary how everything in this remarkable film is still relevant to this day. Indeed, many of the contributors are prescient in foreseeing what was coming.   The ‘Director’s Cut 2025’ now brings this up-to-date at a pivotal point in our country’s future.

Packed with such rich content, it was almost an impossible task to select some very short clips of a few of our famous faces, but we’ve done our best. We have done this to be able to alert the public to the release of this special, updated version of the movie, to attract as wide an audience as possible.

What follows is merely a ‘taste’ – there is FAR more in the full movie but we’re not giving away the best parts just yet! Please note these are clips from our earliest filming and from the original film. The ‘Director’s Cut 2025’ version has more, from the present day!

Get your ticket to watch the full movie at a special online screening with celebrities!

We are now selling tickets to watch the full film online, and all proceeds from ticket sales will be used to cover our costs and to fund the work of organisations fighting for our independence and sovereignty.  Most of this will go towards the work of Facts4EU and Stand for our Sovereignty, with the balance assisting CIBUK and the UK Fisheries Campaign.

We are delighted to announce a special online screening where you will be joined by some of the stars of the film. We will have a short Q&A session where you will be able to ask them questions, which of course will be time limited. The VIP guest list is still being arranged but we hope to announce some of the names in the coming days.

Numbers for this event will be strictly limited and will be available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, although we will give special recognition to requests from those who have been regular or significant donors to any of the organisations involved. If you are new and haven’t previously donated, you can still register your interest and get priority, by contacting us now!

Tomorrow we will announce the very reasonable ticket prices for the two options – for the Private Online Screening with Celebrities, and for access to watch the film at your own convenience.  Watch this space!

OBSERVATIONS

It can truly be said that the making of this film was a labour of love. Perhaps not up there with the two years and much heartache and jungle ordeals involved in Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘Apocalypse Now’, but sometimes it felt not far off.

The logistics of trying to snatch a short time from the busy diaries of the men and women of the calibre appearing in this film would have taxed the abilities of the most powerful AI robot. Somehow it all came together, thanks in no small part to the charms of our presenter, Alex Phillips, and her partner in crime, Ben Philips. (No relation: Ben is one of the Vice-Chairmen of Stand for Our Sovereignty and is also Deputy Chairman and Comms Director of CIBUK.)

One minute they and the film crew were in the Palace of Westminster with specially arranged passes, and the next they were scrambling for a taxi to take them to the private residence of one of our most famous stars.

We think the resulting movie was worth all the effort and we hope you will too.
